Menokin Offering Brand New Tour
Menokin is now offering Landscape Tours! This brand-new walking tour focuses on how Menokin’s landscape- from the tobacco rolling roads to the ruin- reveals the experiences of the people who lived and worked here. The tour is entirely outdoors.
It includes an exclusive stop never before included in our guided tours: the Tenant House. It also provides a glimpse into the current work at the ruin as the construction team moves forward with the Glass House Project. Please note that due to there being active construction on site, visitors will be guided around the perimeter of the ruin but will not go inside.
Tours are available weekdays at 2pm and limited to small groups from the same family or household (less than 9 people total). We have some guidelines to ensure everyone's safety:
Masks are required for staff and participants (over the age of 5).
Six feet of social distancing will be maintained throughout the tour.
Closed-toe shoes are required since we will be walking near the ruin.
Participants must sign our liability waiver before the tour. It will be emailed to you, and you can review it here.
The tour is free of charge, but advance reservations are required. To reserve your tour, please email us at menokin@menokin.org. For more information on our COVID-19 guidelines, visit our FAQs page.
