Support Menokin
Annual gifts are vital for Menokin’s education, programs, and community outreach. Your gifts make it possible for Menokin to inspire and engage thousands of school children, lifelong learners, history buffs, post-grad field school students, and lovers of the humanities each year.
Save the House
RAISE THE GLASS is a $9.5 million historic initiative to replace the missing walls, floors, and roof sections of Menokin’s 18th-century ruin with architectural glass, allowing visitors to see and experience the remaining original construction from over 250 years ago. The fusion of architecture and history will create something entirely new in the field of historic preservation and interpretation.
Support the Descendant Documentary
We are creating a powerful documentary that will bring to life the stories of the enslaved community at Menokin. We are committed to telling these stories authentically, exploring their lives & resilience, engaging with their descendants, and educate the wider audience to discuss the last impacts of slavery & the strength of those who endured it.
The Signers Society
Signers Society members are recognized for their multi-year commitments of operating support totaling $15,000 and above, which provide an important measure of financial stability over 3-5 years for Menokin’s programs and strategic priorities. Signers Society membership is limited to 56, and members receive highly visible permanent recognition in the King Conservation and Visitors Center for their role in helping to shape Menokin’s future. Only nine Signer’s Society spots remain!
The 1769 Legacy Society
Members of the 1769 Legacy Society have kindly informed us that they have remembered Menokin in their estate plans.
If there is a special interest you have in giving back, we encourage you to read our Gift Acceptance Policies and to contact Connie Rosemont to discuss.
