Guided Tours

Tours are offered Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3 PM. Reservations are not required but strongly encouraged to guarantee your preferred tour time is available.

Menokin Tour

On this tour, you’ll learn about the overarching history of Menokin and the people who lived and worked on the landscape. The tour also includes up-to-date news on the Glass House Project.

60 min Tours

Offered Tues - Fri from 10 AM to 4 PM.

$15 per person

Children 12 and under are free.

Trails & Landscape

Menokin’s pristine historical landscape is open daily for exploration! Hike along historic tobacco rolling roads, view centuries-old ruins, and enjoy beautiful vistas across Cat Point Creek. Menokin is protected under conservation easement with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

Waterways & Kayaking

Menokin’s kayak launch is free and open to the public. You may bring your own kayak or canoe to launch onto historical Cat Point Creek. June 1 through September 29, you can also rent a kayak at Menokin through our Rappahannock Outdoor Adventures partnership with the Town of Warsaw. The first one hundred paddle renters of the summer will each receive a $10 voucher good at select food establishments in downtown Warsaw.

The staff members were extremely well-informed and willing to share as much information as possible in an hour long visit to the Visitor Center. Then, with map supplied by the Staff, we visited several of the locations set forth on the map. This was a wonderful visit and I highly recommend Menokin.
