12/21/24 - 1/1/25 : Menokin’s grounds & tours are CLOSED during the Christmas & New Year’s holidays. The Old Timers Hunt Club will be on the premises during this time.
Tours are offered Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3 PM. Reservations are not required but strongly encouraged to guarantee your preferred tour time is available.
On this tour, you’ll learn about the overarching history of Menokin and the people who lived and worked on the landscape. The tour also includes up-to-date news on the Glass House Project.
From points north, I-95 to 17 South, to 360 East, follow the brown Menokin signs to business Route 3/Main Street in downtown Warsaw, turn left on Menokin Rd, travel 4.5 miles to the Menokin National Landmark sign. Turn left onto a gravel road and follow signs to the Menokin Visitor Center.
From Richmond, follow 360 East, follow the brown Menokin signs to business Route 3/Main Street in downtown Warsaw, turn left on Menokin Rd, travel 4.5 miles to the Menokin National Landmark sign. Turn left onto a gravel road and follow signs to the Menokin Visitor Center.
Tours Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 4pm, last tour leaving at 3pm.
2024 Fall/Winter Closures:
Saturday, Nov. 9: Visitor Center, Tours, and Grounds are closed for the Wheelin’ Sportsmen Hunting Club.
Nov. 26 - Dec. 2: Visitor Center and Tours are closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. (Flashlight Tour will be Nov. 29, 5PM-7PM)
Dec. 21 - Jan. 1: Visitor Center & tours are closed for the winter holidays. The grounds are also closed to the public for the Old Timers Hunt club.
Kayaking rentals and guided paddles are closed for the season.

We offer walking tours (under one mile on flat terrain) and golf cart tours. The golf cart can seat up to 5 people.

We offer free guided tours as part of the Museums for All initiative for those receiving food assistance. Individuals and families must present a SNAP EBT card and a valid form of photo ID to redeem. Free tours are available for up to four individuals per EBT card.
We offer free guided tours as part of the Blue Star Museums iniative for the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card. The 2023 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, 2023 and ends on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023.
