Rural Stories from Your Community Webinar Archive- Watch the Recording
On February 16, 2022, author, playwright, poet, educator and artist Larry D. Giles joined Menokin for a virtual program featuring his poetry and creative nonfiction. His work often centers on family, on reinvention and preservation of culture and community, rural Virginia life along the Rappahannock River, and on personal resilience and strength, with sometimes mystical multicultural inter-weavings. This program included a special poem Giles wrote that was inspired by Menokin.
