Our Menokin Descendant Collective Spotlight for November is Pamela Johnson!

Pamela is the second great-granddaughter of Daniel West Gordon and the third granddaughter of Amanda Beverly and Stafford Gordon.

Pamela graduated from Saint Peter's University in New Jersey with a degree in Healthcare Administration. She has worked for Horizon BlueCross and BlueShield for a number of years and has a son named Joseph. Before Descendants' Day, Pamela did not know her connection with Menokin at all, but would often come to Warsaw to visit her family.

Since joining the Collective, she has been awestruck and amazed by how many relatives she hadn't met before and feels excited and blessed to be able to connect with them. She is proud to be a descendant and looks forward to getting more involved with the Descendant Collective and learning more about her enslaved ancestors!

Pamela shares, "The descendants are the triumph and the result of what the enslaved ancestors were able to persevere through. Because of them we have come this far. And due to them we have been afforded limitless possibilities.
