Bruce Thomas Joins Menokin Board of Trustees
Menokin is delighted to announce the appointment of Bruce Thomas to the Board of Trustees. Please join is in a hearty welcome. Bruce has a long career in fiscal management, and will bring his vast skill set to Menokin’s ongoing efforts with The Glass House Project, programs, fundraising and more.
Bruce Thomas has marked a career as a Chief Financial Officer, focusing on balance sheet optimization, institutional investor communication, and strategic planning leadership. Investment portfolio management is a passion.
Bruce possesses years of executive experience representing companies in accounting and budgeting, including regulatory reporting, overseeing the Controller and accounting staff, and working with external and internal auditors and regulatory authorities.
Bruce served for many years as a member of the Virginia Bankers Association CFO Committee, and received the last A+ Value Coin from Essex Bank for providing superior value to the organization.
Companies Bruce has served in these capacities include First National Corporation, Community Bankers Trust Corporation, and Essex Bank among others.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
